# Brand voice consistency check

## Purpose

Translate brand guidance into checkable rules, find inconsistencies in supplied copy, and propose precise corrections without changing supported meaning.

## Scope

The skill covers tone, terminology, style, prohibited language, claims, audience fit, and corrected copy.

**Excluded:** redefining the brand, inventing claims, and publishing changes.

## Data basis

- Texts to review supplied as an input.
- Brand guide, glossary, prohibited list and approved claims in scope.

## Result

A findings sheet and corrected copy document.

## Quality criteria

- Every finding cites document, section, sentence or row.
- Each finding names the rule it violates.
- Corrections preserve factual meaning and flag unresolved claims.
- The summary counts findings by rule.

## Instructions

Apply explicit brand rules before stylistic preference. Distinguish violation, suggestion and open question. Keep exact technical or legal wording when required and explain the conflict. Do not upgrade an unverified statement through editing.

## Adapt before use

- Add the current brand guide, glossary and prohibited-language list.
- Add approved claims and required disclosures.
- Define severity labels and correction style.
- Define the audience and channel for each text set.
- Keep source text, findings, corrections, and unresolved questions visibly separate.
- Preserve stable document, section, sentence, or row identifiers in every finding.
- Apply the same rule consistently across all supplied texts before summarizing patterns.
- Record assumptions about audience, channel, and approval status in the output.
- Treat missing guidance as an adaptation gap rather than inventing a house rule.
- Prefer a precise correction over a broad stylistic rewrite.
- Keep exact quotations and required technical wording traceable to their source.
- Use the supplied severity vocabulary consistently in the findings sheet.
- Do not infer customer, product, or performance facts from tone alone.
- Make every unresolved issue actionable by naming the missing decision or evidence.
- Preserve the original order when corrected versions are grouped by source text.
- Recheck that summary counts match the final findings rows.
